Kwanzaa takes place yearly, December 26 - January 1. The seven-day holiday is typically celebrated nightly with reflection + the lighting of the Kinara. As a group, our family event is held each year on January 1. Our celebration is a chance for our family to reflect on the year that just passed, and to take stock of the new year to come. This year, we will gather on January 1, 2026 for our Kwanzaa ceremony, meal, and fellowship to welcome in the new year. If you’d like more information about this year’s event, RSVP below!
